Plans for Your Future YMCA

The YMCA has been welcoming youth, adults, and families into our doors at the corner of Court & Cottage since 1926. Our old building had become a financial burden to maintain and presented capacity and accessibility barriers, impacting our ability to serve ALL in our community. The Y’s building was demolished in 2019, and in its footprints we are building a new 51,000 square-foot facility that will increase our membership capacity by 60%. Located in the heart of downtown Salem, across from our Veteran Housing Project, our new Y will act as a central hub for our community for generations to come.
