After 128 years of service the Family YMCA of Marion and Polk Counties is preparing for the next 100 years, moving from services to success and significance. The YMCA is strengthening our position to address many of the social issues our community faces, with a focus on strengthening families and providing services across the entire age spectrum. We are expanding capacity to help our community meet daily challenges and reach their full potential. Through the expansion of a new facility and program service model, the YMCA will bring a broad range of supports within easy reach of every child, family and adult.

Since 1892, the Salem Family YMCA has been putting Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. When the doors of our new flagship facility open in 2022, it will be in the footprint of our legacy, at the corner of Court & Cottage where our YMCA family has gathered since 1926. We stay committed to the principles and values that have always been the foundation of all that we do as we expand our facility to meet the needs of future generations.

We are in the final phase of our $25.3 Million capital campaign, and your investment can help leave a legacy for generations to come. What we are creating together is much more than a building. Within this facility we can provide a stable platform for all to thrive in their early childhood and beyond, while connecting our youth to academic and career pathways as they develop assets for their future. Within the walls of our Y, we will invest in the stability and strength of adults and families across our community, while fostering healthy and interconnected lifestyles amongst our aging members.
